Model of the bridge over Demow River Assam state government has announced construction of a bridge at  Samarjan over Demow River in  Thowra Legislative Assembly Constituency to boost tourism in Sivasagar. The advisories also warns those who are already in Sri Lanka to keep away from demonstrations and protests, to stay safe. Kerala’s first air-conditioned and fastest ferry is all set to be launched by November 4 connecting the 35-km Vaikom-Ernakulam-Fort Kochi route. The ferry can accommodate 40 passengers in its AC cabin and 80 in the non-AC area.
