Construction Technology Expo India 2019 kick starts in Delhi

The expo is organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India with a concept – Global Housing Technology Challenge – India (GHTC- India), which aims to identify and mainstream a basket of innovative technologies from across the globe that are sustainable and disaster-resilient. PM Modi inaugurated the event in New Delhi today. A National Highways Project worth Rs 1938 crore is coming up in Jalpaiguri District of West Bengal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for the four laning of the Falakata-Salsalabari section of NH -31 D in the northern part of West Bengal on 8th February 2019. PM unveils state-of-the-art super specialty hospital in Ahmedabad

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the super-specialty public hospital – Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Medical Sciences and Research- in Ahmedabad on 17th January 2018. Built by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, the 78 meter high, 1500 bed hospital is equipped with all modern amenities, including an air ambulance. PM inspected the facilities at the hospital. The venue of Statue of Unity in Gujarat’s Narmada district is becoming a favoured tourist destination of the state, within two months after it’s unveiling by PM Narendra Modi. PM unveils the world’s tallest statue – Statue of Unity in Gujarat

Prime Minister Inaugurates the Statue of Unity Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the Statue of Unity – the world’s tallest statue at 182 metres – built in honour of freedom fighter Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on Wednesday, 31st October 2018 – which marks the 143rd birth anniversary of  Patel. The statue stands on Sadhu island on the Narmada in Gujarat and is said to be twice the height of the Statue of Liberty in the US. The high-altitude airport (1,120 m from seal level) is also strategically important from the defence point of view as it is within 60 km of the border with China. Jharsuguda airport, Odisha Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new airport in Jharsuguda, named after freedom fighter Veer Surendra Sai. The first flight took off from the airport today with 10 passengers, including four differently abled children and three crew members (a pilot, an assistant pilot and a flight attendant). India’s engine-less train to be on tracks from September 2018

India’s first engine-less train will roll on the tracks from September this year for trial run. The Train-18 is a semi-high speed self-propelled trains like Metro trains and can run at a speed of 160 kmph. All new luxurious T-18 coaches will be replacing existing Shatabdi coaches and coaches of intercity trains. As per reports , Mumbai may get the first set of T-18 coaches.
