The government of Gujarat is planning to promote Ayurvedic tourism, learnt from the success story of Kerala in the sector. A campaign launched by the Tourism Ministry promoted by Bollywood super star Amitabh Bachan, in this line was very promising. Union Minister of State for Tourism Alphons Kannanthanam, told the media that the Central Government is willing to build a high-security underground museum near the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram so that devotees can have ‘darshan’ of the treasure. The Kerala Tourism department is preparing a master plan for the comprehensive development of Kovalam. The tourism minister, Kadakampally Surendran has informed that necessary infrastructure facilities will be set up at Kovalam before the next tourism season. The new facilities include toilets, parking facility, waste management system, safety measures and street lighting at a cost of Rs 24 lakh. The department has already spent for lighting facilities. സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിമാനത്താവളങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നു തൊട്ടടുത്ത പ്രധാന നഗരത്തിലേക്കുള്ള കെഎസ്ആര്‍ടിസി ബസുകളെ ഫ്ലൈ ബസുകള്‍ എന്ന പേരില്‍ ബ്രാന്‍ഡ് ചെയ്യുമെന്നു സിഎംഡി ടോമിന്‍ ജെ.തച്ചങ്കരി. കണ്ണൂര്‍ വിമാനത്താവളം സെപ്റ്റംബറില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം തുടങ്ങുന്നതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടാണു പുതിയ പരിഷ്‌കാരം. നിലവില്‍ മറ്റു വിമാനത്താവളങ്ങളില്‍നിന്നു നഗരങ്ങളിലേക്കു കെഎസ്ആര്‍ടിസി എസി ലോഫ്‌ലോര്‍ ബസുകള്‍ കൃത്യമായ ഇടവേളകളില്‍ സര്‍വീസ് നടത്തുന്നുണ്ട്. വിമാനത്താവളത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ തന്നെയാണ് അവ യാത്രക്കാരെ കാത്തു നിര്‍ത്തിയിടുന്നത്. ആ ബസുകളെയെല്ലാം ഫ്ലൈ ബസ് എന്നു ബ്രാന്‍ഡ് ചെയ്യും. കെഎസ്ആര്‍ടിസിയിലെ പ്രത്യേക വിഭാഗത്തിനാകും ഫ്ലൈബസുകളുടെ ചുമതല. കണ്ണൂരില്‍ ആദ്യഘട്ടത്തില്‍ 21 പേര്‍ക്ക് ഇരിക്കാവുന്ന ഫ്ലൈ ബസുകളാകും സര്‍വീസ് നടത്തുക. മറ്റു ലോഫ്‌ലോര്‍ എസി ബസുകളേക്കാള്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ ലഗേജ് വയ്ക്കാന്‍ സൗകര്യമുണ്ടാകും. തുടക്കത്തില്‍ ഫോഴ്‌സ് മോട്ടോഴ്‌സിന്റെ വാഹനങ്ങവും പിന്നീട് യാത്രക്കാര്‍ കുടുന്ന മുറയ്ക്ക് ലോഫ്‌ലോര്‍ ബസിലേയ്ക്കും മാറും. സമയനിഷ്ഠയും വൃത്തിയും യാത്രാസുഖവുമാകും ഫ്ലൈ ബസുകളുടെ പ്രത്യേകതയെന്നു ടോമിന്‍ തച്ചങ്കരി പറഞ്ഞു.
