The Ministry of Tourism signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Government for the Republic of Korea for strengthening cooperation in the field of Tourism in New Delhi today. The facilitation counter is located at the T3 terminal arrival gates of the IGI Airport on 5th November 2018. Arunachal Pradesh is all set to promote the state tourism with the help of tourism police. The state Chief Minister Prema Khandu has recently launched tourist police spreading across seven different districts. Goa Tourism has a new information and facilitation counter at Goa Niwas in New Delhi. Power Minister Nilesh Cabral, who is also the chairman of Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC), has inaugurated the facility. “GTDC receives a lot of enquiries from people in Delhi. The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Korea for strengthening cooperation in the field of Tourism. Model of the bridge over Demow River Assam state government has announced construction of a bridge at  Samarjan over Demow River in  Thowra Legislative Assembly Constituency to boost tourism in Sivasagar.
