Pamodzi Carnival of Zambia- a festival of dance, food and handicrafts

Pamodzi carnival is one of the major cultural events of Zambia, which showcase traditional dance, food and drink, music and handcrafts. The event is organized by the Department of Arts and Culture, Ministry of Tourism. This year’s carnival is on 18th August 2018 at Lusaka. The event is expected to have participation from international groups with representation in Zambia. Bristol Balloon Fiesta 2018 kick starts in Ashton Court

The Bristol Balloon Fiesta makes its long-awaited return to Bristol’s Ashton Court this weekend and is sure to attract visitors from across the country. Bristol’s biggest annual festival is the largest hot air ballooning event in Europe and crowds of around 100,000 people are expected to descend on Ashton Court each day. Kumbha Mela 2019 to be a global event: Tourism Minister

KJ Alphons, Union Tourism Minister for State said on Monday that the government is planning to launch a campaign for promoting Kumbh Mela across the country with a tag line ‘Chalo Kumbh Chalo’. The campaign may include releasing advertisements at major international airports of the country and organising the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2019 in Varanasi to lure the Pravasi Bharatiya delegates. International power boat racing tournament in Amaravati

Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh to conduct International power boat racing championship in Krishna River in November. The event will be conducted on November 9, 10, and 11.
