Courtallam flower show attracts thousands
Representative Photo The Horticulture Department of Tamil Nadu is conducting a flower and vegetable show at Eco Park near Five Falls in Courtallam. The event was inaugurated on 29th July 2018. There are different kinds of artistic decorations made of flowers, condiments, vegetables etc., at the show. A Taj Mahal made of aromatic condiments; a tractor, Indian gaur and dancers, all made of flowers are among a few of the eye catching exhibit items at the flower show. മഴ കനിഞ്ഞു: കുളിര്‍മതേടി വീണ്ടും സഞ്ചാരികള്‍ എത്തിത്തുടങ്ങി
കടുത്ത ചൂടിനെ ശമിപ്പിച്ചു പെയ്ത വേനല്‍ മഴ കനിഞ്ഞ് ജലപാതകളില്‍ നീരൊഴുക്ക്. തമിഴ്‌നാടിന്റെ അതിര്‍ത്തി മേഖലയില്‍ രണ്ടു ദിവസമായി പെയ്ത മഴ മൂലം കുറ്റാലം ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടങ്ങളിലേക്ക് സഞ്ചാരികള്‍ എത്തി തുടങ്ങി. ഇന്ത്യന്‍ മഹാ സമുദ്രത്തില്‍ രൂപം കൊണ്ട ന്യൂനമര്‍ദ്ദം കാരണം കാറ്റും മഴയും തുടരുകയാണ്. കടുത്ത വേനല്‍ തുടരുന്നതിനാല്‍ വറ്റിയിരുന്ന നീര്‍ ചാലുകളില്‍ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാതെ ലഭിച്ച മഴ കാരണം നീരൊഴുക്ക് വര്‍ധിച്ചു. വരള്‍ച്ചകാരണം സഞ്ചാരികള്‍ എത്താതിരുന്ന ജലപാതങ്ങളിലേക്ക് കുളിര്‍മതേടി വീണ്ടും സഞ്ചാരികള്‍ വന്നുതുടങ്ങി. അതേസമയം കേരളത്തില്‍ പാലരുവി ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള വിനോദസഞ്ചാരകേന്ദ്രങ്ങള്‍ വേനല്‍കാരണം അടച്ചിട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
