First major relief: Rajasthan to reimburse tax to hotels and tour operators

The Rajasthan government has decided to reimburse the state tax, due and deposited, by hotels and tour operators registered under the Rajasthan Goods and Services Act. The order for reimbursement of state tax (SGST) will come into effect from April 1 and will be in force till June 30. The order will be applicable for taxable entities registered under the category of hotels, resorts and tour operators. However, it will not cover standalone restaurants and clubs. Jaipur, the pink city, has finally become a UNESCO World Heritage site. ഇരുപതു വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ശേഷം വിവാഹമെത്തിയ ഗ്രാമം. കേള്‍ക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ലേശം കൗതുകം തോന്നാം. എന്നാല്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ ഇരുപതു വര്‍ഷമായി വിവാഹങ്ങള്‍ നടക്കാത്ത ഗ്രാമമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്ത്. രാജസ്ഥാനിലെ ധോല്‍പൂരിലെ രാജ്ഘട്ടാണ് ഈ ഗ്രാമം. ഗ്രാമത്തിലെ പവന്‍കുമാര്‍ എന്നാ യുവാവിന്‍റെ വിവാഹത്തോടെ മാറിമറിഞ്ഞത് ചരിത്രമാണ്. 1996നു ശേഷം ഇവിടെ ആരും വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഈ ചരിത്രം തിരുത്തിയായിരുന്നു പവനിന്‍റെ വിവാഹം. ഗ്രാമത്തിലെ ഒരാണ്‍കുട്ടിക്കും മറ്റുഗ്രാമങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും രക്ഷിതാക്കള്‍ പെണ്ണുകൊടുക്കില്ല. അതിനു കാരണം  വൈദ്യുതി ബന്ധമോ റോഡുകളോ ഇല്ല. പരിമിത സൗകര്യങ്ങളുള്ള തീര്‍ത്തും അവികസിത പ്രദേശമാണ് ഈ ഗ്രാമം. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഈ കുഗ്രാമാത്തിലേക്ക് പെണ്‍കുട്ടികളെ കെട്ടിച്ചയക്കാന്‍ രക്ഷിതാക്കള്‍ മടിക്കുന്നു. 300 പേര്‍ താമസിക്കുന്ന ഗ്രാമത്തില്‍ നാല്‍പതില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ ചെറു കുടിലുകളുണ്ട്. പ്രൈമറി സ്‌കൂളും വെള്ളം ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഹാന്‍ഡ് പമ്പുമാണ് ഈ ഗ്രാമത്തിലെത്തിയ ഏക വികസനം. ജീവിതത്തില്‍ ഇന്നേ വരെ ടിവിയോ ഫ്രിഡ്‌ജോ മറ്റ് വൈദ്യുതോപകരണങ്ങളോ കാണാത്തവരാണ് ഇവിടുള്ളവര്‍. എന്നാലും സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കുടുംബജീവിതം നയിക്കുന്ന ഇവര്‍ ഇരുപതുവര്‍ഷത്തിനു ... Rajasthan exempts 50% stamp duty to boost tourism
