Scoot starts non-stop daily to Thiruvananthapuram from Singapore

Budget-carrier of Singapore Airlines, Scoot has launched its daily non-stop flight from Singapore to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The airline also announced to cease its operations from Lucknow by June-end owing to weak demand on the route. The inaugural flight took off from Singapore on Tuesday with a 180-seater Airbus A320 aircraft at around 8:40 pm local time and reached the Thiruvananthapuram airport at around 10 pm local time, said the airline in a statement. Come April and the tiny hamlet of Kadammanitta in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala will witness the world’s most majestic display of the ritual art form of Patayani- the Kadammanitta Patayani. Nepal has agreed to align with Kerala on tourism and ayurveda. The decision was taken during the visit of the former prime minister of Nepal and senior leader of Communist Party of Nepal (UML) Jhala Nath Khanal. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has proposed Khanal for cooperation with Kerala in tourism and ayurveda sectors when he visited the CM at his office in Thiruvananthapuram.
