Isha Yoga Center organizes Pongal celebrations

Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore This year, Pongal – the festival of Tamil Nadu- will be celebrated in collaborating with Isha Yoga Centre, Coimbatore. This year’s festivities will take place on the centre’s premises in Coimbatore from 3pm to 6pm on 16th January 2018. “People from across the world with distinct culture and religion will join the Pongal celebrations that will include Pongal pots, sugarcane, rangoli and traditional games,” stated a release from the Yoga center. Vasantholsavam – the spring festival is back in Thiruvananthapuram

Vasantholsavam – the spring festival is back in Thiruvananthapuram. A nine-day long flower show, organized by the tourism department will kick off on January 11 2019. Other than flower show, the event will feature an exhibition-cum-sale of agricultural produce, rare herbs and medicinal plants, and food festivals. CII to promote Kumbh Mela 2019

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has joined hands with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to promote Kumbh Mela 2019. More than 12 crore pilgrims are expected to visit the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela 2019 starting January 15 at Prayagraj (Allahabad) in Uttar Pradesh, including 10 lakh foreign tourists. “This event is organised at four places in the country. Mysuru all set to host winter festival to woo tourists

After the extravagant Dussehra, Mysuru is all set to woo tourists with its winter festival. With aim to attract the year-end crowd, the state tourism department has inaugurated the winter festival on December 22. The festival is organised by the Mysuru District Administration, Karnataka Tourism Department and the Mysore Palace Board, in association with the city-based hotel, tourist taxi associations. The Tourism Authority of Thailand will organise the longest fireworks display ever staged along Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River as part of celebrations to mark the arrival of the New Year at midnight on 31st December 2018.
