Karnataka Tourism appoints new director
Ramu B, IAS took charge as the Director of Karnataka State Tourism Department on April 24, 2018. The 2010-batch IAS officer Ramu B, had earlier served as the District Collector in Chamarajanagar. കേരളത്തിലെ ഒട്ടുമിക്ക കുടുംബങ്ങളും അവധിക്കാല യാത്രയ്ക്ക് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്നത് കര്‍ണ്ണാടകയാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ കര്‍ണ്ണാടകയില്‍ കൂടി യാത്രചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ വഴിച്ചെലവിനും താമസത്തിനും ഷോപ്പിങ്ങിനുമായി 50,000 രൂപയില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ കൈവശം വയ്ക്കരുതെന്നു മുന്നറിയിപ്പ്. ഇനി അഥവാ പണം കയ്യില്‍ സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ രേഖകള്‍ എടുക്കാന്‍ മറക്കരുത്. രേഖകളില്ലാത്ത പണം തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ പിടിച്ചെടുക്കാന്‍ സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്നു കണ്ണൂര്‍ കലക്ടര്‍ മിര്‍ മുഹമ്മദ് അലി മുന്നറിയിപ്പു നല്‍കി. കേരളത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് നിരവധി കുടുംബങ്ങളാണു അവധിക്കാലത്തു കര്‍ണ്ണാടക സന്ദര്‍ശിക്കാന്‍ പോകാറുള്ളത്. കുടക്, മൈസൂര്‍, ബെംഗളൂരു തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രദേശങ്ങള്‍ കേരളത്തിലെ സഞ്ചാരികളുടെ ഇഷ്ട പ്രദേശങ്ങളുമാണ്. തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് പെരുമാറ്റച്ചട്ടം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്നാണു പണം കൊണ്ടു പോകുന്നതിനു നിയന്ത്രണം വന്നത്. തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ പണം പിടിച്ചെടുത്താല്‍ കൃത്യമായ രേഖകള്‍ നല്‍കിയാല്‍ സാധാരണ രീതിയില്‍ തിരിച്ചു നല്‍കാറുണ്ട്. എന്നാല്‍ വഴിച്ചെലവിനുള്ള പണം തല്‍ക്കാലം കയ്യില്‍ നിന്നു പോകുന്നതു പ്രയാസമുണ്ടാക്കും. മാത്രമല്ല പിന്നീടു തുക തിരികെ വാങ്ങുന്നതിനു നൂലാമാലകളുമുണ്ടാകും. ആവശ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ള പണം അതാതു സമയത്തു പിന്‍വലിക്കുകയും ഷോപ്പിങ്ങിനു പരമാവധി ... The ‘Most Film Friendly’ state in India
State of Madhya Pradesh bagged the award for the Most Film Friendly State for its efforts towards easing filming in the State by creating a well-structured web site, film friendly infrastructure, offering incentives, maintaining databases, undertaking marketing and promotional initiatives. The Most Film Friendly State Award was announced today by the Chairman of the Jury, Ramesh Sippy. The Awards will be presented by Hon’ble President of India Ram Nath Kovind on May 3rd, 2018 during the presentation of the National Film Awards. ടിപ്പു മുനമ്പില്‍ സംരക്ഷണവേലി നിര്‍മിക്കുന്നു
വിനോദസഞ്ചാര കേന്ദ്രമായ നന്ദിഹില്‍സിലെ ടിപ്പു മുനമ്പില്‍ സംരക്ഷണ വേലി നിര്‍മിക്കുന്നു. മലമുകളിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയരംകൂടിയ മേഖലയായ ടിപ്പു മുനമ്പില്‍നിന്ന് താഴേക്കു വീണുള്ള അപകടങ്ങള്‍ വര്‍ധിക്കുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണു നടപടി. പത്തടി ഉയരത്തിലാണ് ഇരുമ്പ് നെറ്റ് കൊണ്ടുള്ള വേലി ഹോര്‍ട്ടികള്‍ച്ചര്‍ വകുപ്പ് നിര്‍മിക്കുന്നത്. 25 ലക്ഷം രൂപയാണ് നിര്‍മാണ ചെലവ് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് ഹോര്‍ട്ടികള്‍ച്ചര്‍ വകുപ്പ് സ്‌പെഷല്‍ ഓഫിസര്‍ എന്‍.രമേശ് പറഞ്ഞു. സഞ്ചാരികളുടെ സുരക്ഷയ്ക്കായി ഇവിടെ രണ്ടു ജീവനക്കാരെ നിയമിച്ചെങ്കിലും പലരും മൊബൈല്‍ ഫോണില്‍ സെല്‍ഫിയെടുക്കാനും മറ്റും സംരക്ഷണഭിത്തിയില്‍ കയറുന്ന സാഹചര്യമാണ്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ഫെബ്രുവരിയില്‍ ഇവിടെനിന്ന് താഴേക്കുവീണ യുവാവിന്റെ മൃതദേഹം രണ്ടു ദിവസത്തിനു ശേഷമാണു കണ്ടെടുത്തത്.
വിഷുവിന് നാട്ടിലെത്താന്‍ കര്‍ണാടക ആര്‍ ടി സിയുടെ സ്‌പെഷ്യല്‍ ബസുകള്‍
വിഷുവിന് നാട്ടിലെത്തുന്നവരുടെ തിരക്ക് കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് സ്‌പെഷ്യല്‍ ബസുകളുമായി കര്‍ണാടക ആര്‍ ടി സി. യാത്രക്കാരുടെ തിരക്ക് കൂടുതല്‍ ഉള്ള 12, 13 തീയതികളില്‍ 30 സ്‌പെഷ്യല്‍ ബസുകളാണ് ഇതു വരെ അനുവദിച്ചത്. കോട്ടയം (2), മൂന്നാര്‍ (1), എറണാകുളം (3), തൃശൂര്‍ (4), പാലക്കാട് (3), കോഴിക്കോട് (4), മാഹി (3), കണ്ണൂര്‍ (10) എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലേക്കാണ് ഇവ സര്‍വീസ് നടത്തുക. ഇതില്‍ 13 എണ്ണം സേലം വഴിയാണ്. കേരള ആര്‍ടിസിയേക്കാള്‍ ടിക്കറ്റ് ചാര്‍ജ് കൂടുതലാണെങ്കിലും യാത്രാസമയം കുറവായതിനാല്‍ സേലം വഴിയുള്ള സ്‌പെഷലുകളിലെ ടിക്കറ്റുകള്‍ അതിവേഗമാണ് വിറ്റഴിയുന്നത്. കേരള ആര്‍ടിസി ഇതുവരെ സേലം വഴി ഒരു സ്‌പെഷല്‍ പോലും അനുവദിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്നതും കര്‍ണാടക ആര്‍ടിസിക്കു നേട്ടമാകുന്നു. എറണാകുളം, കോട്ടയം ഭാഗങ്ങളിലേക്കു ദീര്‍ഘദൂര സ്വകാര്യ ബസുകള്‍ മൂവായിരം രൂപ വരെ ഈടാക്കുമ്പോള്‍ കര്‍ണാടക ആര്‍ടിസി സ്‌പെഷല്‍ ബസില്‍ 1700 രൂപ വരെയാണ് നിരക്ക്. കേരള ആര്‍ടിസി എറണാകുളം, തൃശൂര്‍, കോട്ടയം ഭാഗങ്ങളിലേക്കു സ്‌പെഷല്‍ അനുവദിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഇവയെല്ലാം ... Ministry asks Bihar to rework on Ramayana circuit proposal
Tourism Ministry has asked Bihar to rework on the Ramayana Circuit proposal it had submitted. The State Government of Bihar has submitted the proposal for development of Sitamarhi, Buxar and Darbhanga under Ramayana Circuit. “A presentation on the project was made in the Ministry of Tourism on 13.02.2018 and based on discussion, the State Government has been requested to rework on the project as per scheme guidelines,” informed K J Alphons, Union Minister of State (I/C) for Tourism. കര്‍ഷക സംഘടനകള്‍ മഹാദയി നദി തര്‍ക്കവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്ത ബന്ദില്‍ വലഞ്ഞ് കര്‍ണാടക. തുടര്‍ച്ചയായി അവധി ദിനം വരുന്നതിനാല്‍ നാട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങാനിരുന്ന മലയാളികളെ ബന്ദ് സാരമായി ബാധിച്ചു. സര്‍ക്കാര്‍, സ്വകാര്യ ബസ്സുകള്‍ സര്‍വീസുകള്‍ നടത്താത്തതിനാല്‍ കേരളത്തിലേക്കുള്ള യാത്ര മുടങ്ങി. മെട്രോ സര്‍വീസുകളെ ബന്ദ് ബാധിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. സ്വകാര്യ ബസുകള്‍ നിരത്തിലിറങ്ങാഞ്ഞതിനാല്‍ വിപ്രോ, ഇന്‍ഫോസിസ് തുടങ്ങിയ ടെക്ക് കമ്പിനികളിലെ ജീവനക്കാര്‍ക്ക് അവധി നല്‍കി. വടക്കന്‍ ജില്ലകളായ ഗുല്‍ബര്‍ഗയിലെ സ്‌കൂളുകളെ ബന്ദ് ബാധിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല, എന്നാല്‍ തെക്കന്‍ ജില്ലകളായ മാണ്ഡ്യയിലെയും ബെംഗളുരുവിലെയും സ്‌കൂളുകള്‍ പൂര്‍ണമായും അടച്ചു. ബിജെപി ദേശീയ അധ്യഷന്‍ അമിത് ഷാ ഇന്ന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് മൈസൂരുവില്‍ പരിവര്‍ത്തന യാത്രയെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തു സംസാരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. സമ്മേളനത്തെയും ബന്ദ് ബാധിക്കുമെന്നാണ് വിവരം. നിയമസഭ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് സംസ്ഥാനം സന്ദര്‍ശിക്കുന്നതിനായി പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി ഫെബ്രവരി നാലിന് ബെംഗളൂരുവില്‍ എത്തും. അന്നും കര്‍ഷക സംഘടനകള്‍ ബന്ദിന് ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.
