Short film on Chekutty to premiere in ITB Berlin

Chekutty dolls arrived at the ITB venue Kerala’s Chekutty doll will be a center attraction in ITB Berlin this year. The organizers of Chekkuty have already installed a stall for Chekutty in ITB. A short film on Chekutty will also be premiered at the venue. The short film titled ‘Kerala the land of Chekutty’ will narrate the story of Kerala, which survived the devastating flood in August last year. Bardia National Park selected as World Top 100 Sustainable Destination

The largest national park of Nepal, Bardia National Park has announced it is selected as World Top 100 Sustainable Destinations finalists for this year by the jury experts of Green Destinations Top 100 team and members of the special Top 100 selection panel that included over 60 tourism sustainability exerts. Kerala Tourism organizes roadshow in Marseille

After a successful ITB Berlin held in Germany from March 7-11, Kerala Tourism conducted a roadshow in Marseille, France on March 13. The Kerala Tourism is touring European countries as part of its marketing campaigns to attract more European tourists to the God’s own Country. The Marseille roadshow under the leadership of Rahul, Managing Director of Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC), saw 15 tour operators from Marseille attending the show. Luxury train of India, Palace on Wheels, has won the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) award under the category ‘Tourist Train of the Year’. The Tourism department of Kerala is promoting the benefits of Ayurveda at ITB Berlin. Kerala Tourism is all set to introduce a new brand ambassador, says P Bala Kiran, IAS, Director, Kerala Tourism at ITB Berlin exclusively to Tourism News Live. “A new campaign will be launched in the coming months with a new brand ambassador to promote Kerala to the globetrotters across the world,” he said.
