Delhi Metro Phase 4 project gets cabinet nod

The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved Delhi Metro’s Phase -4 project comprising of 3 priority corridors. The total length of these 3 corridors is 61.679 km. Out of the total 61.679 km, 22.359 km will be built underground and 39.320 km will be constructed as elevated section. These corridors will consist of 46 stations, of which 17 stations will be underground and the rest 29 stations will be constructed as elevated sections. Airport Authority of India to take over Kushinagar Airport in Uttar Pradesh

Airports Authority of India (AAI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 5th March 2019  with State Government of Uttar Pradesh for taking over the development and operationsalization of existing Kushinagar Airport, which belongs to State Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. It was revealed by AAI in a press release. Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari, laid the foundation stone for development and maintenance of Inter-Modal Station (IMS) at Ajni Railway Station in Nagpur today. Messe Berlin said it will be organising the inaugural ITB India in 2020. The three-day business-to-business travel trade show and convention will take place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, India, from April 15th-17th next year. With an objective to provide seamless urban mobility to commuters across the country, the Center has launched India’s first indigenously-developed National Common Mobility Card (NCMC). The card is launched by Prime Minister Naredra Modi in Ahmedabad on 4th March 2019. Dubbed as ‘One Nation-One Card’, the inter-operable transport card would allow holders to pay for their bus travel, toll taxes, parking charges, retail shopping and withdraw cash.
