Prepared by Serum Institute of India (SII)-manufactured Covishield vaccine was earlier not approved by the EU. Fully vaccinated travelers can visit EU nations unless they are traveling from a very high-risk country region due to the presence of the new COVID variant. Netherlands welcomed 1,65,000 Indians in 2017, with India being the second fastest emerging market along with Brazil, witnessing a 31 per cent increase over 2017.
