The channel manager software system is designed to help international and domestic tourists to book KTDC hotels more quickly and efficiently. Monuments under the Archaeological Survey, which were closed for two months following the spread of covid second wave, are being reopened. The Archaeological Survey of India has announced that protected monuments across the country will be re-opened from June 16. The Archaeological Survey of India said there would be no direct booking to visit the monuments and that admission tickets could be purchased online. Last year, 3,691 protected areas under the Archaeological Survey of India were closed due to the covid.

An integration of 3D printing and pharmaceuticals has resulted in a novel type of mask which attacks the virus when viral particles come in contact with it. Developed by Pune-based start-up firm Thincr Technologies India Private Limited, these masks are coated with anti-viral agents known otherwise as virucides.
