Himachal gets centre-aid to boost religious tourism

With an aim to start promoting religious tourism circuit in Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and Union Minister for Tourism KJ Alphons held discussions in New Delhi. The ministers discussed about a Rs 300 crore including a project for improving the infrastructure facilities of the state. Himachal Pradesh is famous for its various eco-tourism activities that support various tourism hotspots in the tourism map. Bus crash in South Korea kills atleast 32 Chinese tourists

Thirty two Chinese tourists and four North Koreans are reported to be killed in a major bus accident in North Korea. The Chinese foreign ministry has informed that two Chinese nationals were also seriously injured and are in a critical condition. The China’s state broadcaster CGTN tweeted that more than 30 people died when a tour bus fell from a bridge in North Korea. The tweet was later deleted. Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board launches ‘L.A. Insider,’ a online training tool for travel trade professionals in the Middle East. The mobile and tablet-friendly programme is the first of its kind for L.A. Tourism. Durban to host new Cruise Terminal for boosting tourism

Durban, the largest city in the South African district of KwaZulu-Natal is all about to invest over 200 million dollars for constructing a new Cruise Terminal. The project is an association between Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) and the KwaZulu Cruise Terminal (KCT), with various other investors to open the mega project by October 2020. Dubai’s La Mer is going to have a brand new waterpark opening in May 2018. Laguna Waterpark is split into four zones – Surf, Relax, Slide and Splash – as well as a pool lounge, a lazy river, food kiosks and a merchandise store. Rajasthan Department of Tourism, in association with Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR), is planning to organize ‘Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart’ 2018. The three-day event is scheduled to be held at the B.M. After the introduction of new web layout for Gmail, Google comes up with a new update that enables confidential assistance to users. Named as the confidential mode, the functions stop recipients from forwarding important emails, as well as, restrict the user to copy or download them. According to various technical reports, Gmail users will soon require a passcode to open certain e-mails. Passcodes can be generated through personal mobile numbers via SMS. Rain havoc: 12 dead in Rajasthan

At least 12 people died in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur and Dholpur districts after heavy rain lashed the areas. Five children were among those who died in Dholpur, as per the reports. The administration said the toll may go up. Most of these deaths were reportedly happened due to collapse of houses in the storm. At most of the places victims were sleeping, said an official from the district administration. The heavy rainfall snapped power lines in many areas, leading to outages or fire due to short circuit.
