Philippines setup biggest booth in the IMTM 2019 in Tel-Aviv

As part of the Tourism Ministry’s effort to make Philippines one of the major tourism destinations in the world, the Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat is in Tel-Aviv to participate in the Annual International Mediterranean Tourism Market (IMTM) 2019. Israeli airline Arkia to launch direct flights to Kochi and Goa

Israeli airline Arkia Airlines Ltd. announce to introduce flights to Goa and Cochin in the state of Kerala. Arkia is joining El Al Israel Airlines Ltd., which operates direct flights to Mumbai, and Air India, which flies from Tel Aviv to Delhi on a shorter route passing above Saudi Arabia. The new flights will start operating from September 2019 using recently acquired Airbus 321neoLR airliners. Israel to set new record in inbound tourism

Israeli tourism sector has been showing a growing trend during the year 2018. Nearly 4 million visitors have visited the historical country, since the beginning of the year. Around 389,000 tourists visited Israel in November alone, as per reports. Israel sets new record in inbound tourism

Israel Tourism has set a new record for tourist arrival in the current year. It was announced by the The Ministry of Tourism on Friday. 3.6 million tourists have visited Israel during the year 2017. This follows a record set in October 2018 for the most visitors and pilgrims to Israel in one month – nearly 500,000, which broke the previous all-time incoming tourism set in April 2018 by almost 20 per cent. Israel’s Ministry of Tourism (IMOT) is planning to increase its services in Kerala to woo more tourists from the state to the Jewish state. Hassan Madah, IMOT – India and Philippines- Director was in Kochi on Thursday, 15th November 2018, as part of a road-show to promote Israel’s tourism. Israel Ministry of Tourism conducts roadshow in Kolkata

With an aim to enhance commercial ties with the Indian travel trade fraternity, Israel Ministry of Tourism (IMOT) has conducted a roadshow in Kolkata on August 29. A 20-member delegation, comprising of destination management companies (DMCs) from Israel, interacted with over 100 key travel and tour operators, MICE providers, up-market leisure operators and media personnel during the event. The ministry has also conducted another road show in the capital city of New Delhi on 30th August, 2018. Israel opens visa centre in Calcutta

Looking at the increase in number of tourists, the Israel embassy has opened a visa application centre in Calcutta. The centre, housed on the seventh floor of Acropolis Mall, will cater to Bengal and the Northeast. “Residents of Calcutta and the Northeast will no longer have to send their documents to Delhi,” said Hassan Madah, Director, Israel Ministry of Tourism, India and Philippines. Israel’s tourism industry in a forward swing

Israel received 2.1 million tourists during the first half of the year 2018, depicting an increase of 19 per cent compared to the same period in 2017 (1.74 million) and 26 per cent more than in 2016. In the month of June, 310,200 tourists visited Israel, according to reports released Monday by the Central Bureau of Statistics, which is 2 per cent more than in June 2017.
