World Kayak Championship at Thusharagiri on July 12

Come July and its that time of the year where expert kayakers from across the world will sweat it out for top spots at the International White Water Kayaking Championship scheduled to be held at Thusharagiri in Kozhikode district from July 12 to 22. Kerala Tourism campaign wins Golden City Gate Award

Kerala Tourism’s new campaign has bagged the prestigious ‘Golden City Gate Award’ at the world’s leading travel trade show ITB in Berlin. Titled ‘Live Inspired’, the multimedia campaign that seeks to promote God’s Own Country as an art and cultural hub, is directed by Samir Thahir. Dubai celebrates National Day of Kuwait

A large number of Kuwaiti nationals and people from many other nationalities participated in grand celebrations held in Dubai marking Kuwait’s National Day on 25 February. The celebrations featured concerts by Miami Band from Kuwait and singer Bader AlShaibi, a culinary session by famous Kuwaiti chef, Jameela Al Lenqawi, an appearance by popular Kuwaiti foodie influencer, Talal Al Rashed, in addition to a spectacular fireworks show and cultural activities including performances by traditional bands. During a dinner hosted by influencer Al Rashed, Emirati artiste Omar Al Marzooqi performed a special song to celebrate Kuwait’s National Day.

Haryana Tourism is all set for the 32nd ‘Surajkund International Crafts Mela’, to be held from 2nd to 18th February at Faridabad this year. Lake Turkana Cultural Festival on June 2018

Kenya is all set for the ‘Maesabit-Lake Turkana Cultural Festival’ which is into its 12th  year.  The event, to be held at Loyangalani town,  is a celebration of a cluster of 14 communities that form a larger unity of Marsabit County’s total strength.
