Goa Ready for Shigmo Fest

Goa’s all-time vibrant Hindu festival known as the Shigmo Fest is all set to be held from 3rd to 17th March. This year a majestic display of Goan ethnicity and mythology will be displayed by talented performers, along with folk songs and dances.

The main attraction of the event is the Shigmo Parade, that signifies a religious Hindu festival which includes colours, music, dance and float. The festive mood is further enhanced by decorating streets vibrantly.

On behalf of the event, the tourism ministry of Goa is expecting over thousands of tourist arrival to the state, after the Goan Carnival, that demonstrates the essence of Goa.
