Azerbaijan’s virtual travel trade event to be held in October

Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB), the national promotion body designed to support the growth of Azerbaijan’s tourism industry, will host its biggest virtual travel trade event in October. Titled “Travel Business Azerbaijan Online” (TBA 2020), the event will be held on October 14, 2020. The online event will bring together local and international tourism professionals, in order to forge partnerships and profitable business deals, Azerbaijan Tourism Board said in a statement. Baku to host AITF 2018

Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair (AITF) is all set to begin from 5th April at Baku Expo Centre in Azerbaijan. The 17th version of the three-day expo features all the ingredients a country can offer, in terms of tourism and associated destination marketing. AITF 2018, will be supported strongly by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and Tourism, UNWTO and PATA, with its prominence to increase the country’s GDP through tourism. ‘Baku card’ to reduce Travel Budget

Azerbaijan National Tourism Promotion Bureau is on a new mission to attract international tourist arrival by issuing discount cards. The card exclusively named as ‘Baku Card’, would be the first-of-its-kind launched officially for the city. The discount card can be collected online, through a special kiosk, that further enhances the possibility of discounts to restaurants, cafes, shops, museums and even on public transportation.
