Anup Kumar Nayak, The Project Tiger’s Additional Director General, has sent an advisory to the states to stop tourism in tiger reserves during the monsoon season. The advisory was the second reminder for the one issued in 2015, directing the closure of tiger reserve during monsoon (July-September). “This directive and a subsequent reminder on July 12, 2017 have not yielded any response from most states, I am to reiterate that the 2015 directive should be followed in letter and spirit in the interest of tiger conservation,” Nayak’s advisory reads. Malaysian tourism sector is in a revival mode after the slow pace in inbound tourists during the first four months of the year. The fortifying factor was the increased number of Chinese tourists during the last two months of the first half of the year. The information was revealed in the report of Maybank Investment Bank Research.   തിരുവനന്തപുരം:ഇന്ത്യയിലാദ്യമായി  സ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്കായി സ്ത്രീകള്‍ നടത്തുന്ന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഹോട്ടല്‍ പദ്ധതിയായ  കെടിഡിസി (സംസ്ഥാന വിനോദസഞ്ചാര വികസന കോര്‍പറേഷന്‍) ‘ഹോസ്റ്റസ്’ ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി  കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.    സംസ്ഥാന വികസന ചരിത്രത്തിലെ നാഴികകല്ലായ കേരളത്തിലെ ഹോസ്റ്റസ് പദ്ധതി സ്ത്രീസുരക്ഷ  വെല്ലുവിളി നേരിടുന്ന ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്കു മാതൃകയാണെന്നും ആറ് മാസത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ ഇത്  പ്രവര്‍ത്തന സജ്ജമാക്കുമെന്നും  തമ്പാനൂര്‍ കെടിഡിഎഫ്സി കോംപ്ലക്സില്‍ നടന്ന ചടങ്ങില്‍ മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.   ഈ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വിനോദസഞ്ചാരമേഖലയ്ക്കും കെടിഡിസിയ്ക്കും പ്രത്യേക പരിഗണനയാണ് നല്‍കുന്നത്. കന്യാകുമാരിയില്‍ 42 മുറികളുള്ള ഹോട്ടല്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിക്കുന്നതിന്  17.5 കോടി രൂപ അനുവദിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതിന്‍റെ നിര്‍മ്മാണ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ ആരംഭിക്കാന്‍ തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലെ തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളുടെ അനുമതിക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുകയാണ്. മുഴുപ്പിലങ്ങാട് ബീച്ചിന്‍റെ വികസന പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ക്കായി 39.6 കോടി രൂപ കിഫ്ബി വഴി അനുവദിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരകേന്ദ്ര വികസനത്തിലൂടെ കുമരകം വാട്ടര്‍ സ്കേപ്പിന്  7.69 കോടിരൂപയും കോവളത്തെ സമുദ്ര ഹോട്ടലിനും മൂന്നാറിലെ ടീ കൗണ്ടിക്കുമായി  ഓരോ ...
