After some lean months during the COVID-19 pandemic, Fat Thursday finally brought some cheer to Polish confectioners as their sweet-toothed customers feasted on doughnuts. Chopin-themed campaign by Poland scores more than 165 million views in Chinese market

Staged by the Polish Tourism Organisation’s International Office in Beijing, a three-month promotional campaign on the Tuniu platform, one of China’s leading online travel agencies and tourism portals, has just wrapped up. The objective was to introduce the Chinese audience to Poland’s tourism highlights related to Fryderyk Chopin and to showcase itinerary proposals for touring our country. The campaign in question was inspired by the 210th anniversary of the renowned composer’s birthday and the 10th anniversary of the Chopin Museum opening in Warsaw. Poland’s LOT airline to fly to New Delhi from September

Poland’s state-owned airline, LOT is all set to launch a service from Warsaw to New Delhi in September. The carrier plans plans to fly five times a week beginning September 17, 2019. The flight is expected to take 7 hours to reach Warsaw from New Delhi. The new service will enhance tourist footfalls and, will also help the business travellers. India is the second-largest market for direct investment by Polish businesses in Asia, after Singapore. LOT carried 8.8 million passengers last year, 2 million more than in 2017. Poland woos Kannada film makers to shoot there

Poland and Karnataka are joining hands for promotion of tourism in Poland.  Adam Burakowski, Ambassador of Polund has urged the Karnataka Cehief Minister HD Kumara Swami to ask the film industry to shoot their films in Poland. Burakowski, a big fan of Hindi films and the Kannada super star (late) Rajkumar, said that his country was ready to offer an upfront 30 per cent subsidy of the cost of a movie if Kannada filmmakers shoot their films entirely in Poland. AAHAR 2018 kick starts in Delhi

Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Suresh Prabhu inaugurated the 33rd edition of ‘AAHAR 2018’, a 4-day event on International Food and Hospitality at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The event is organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), in association with Agricultural Processed Food Products Development Authority (APEDA), and Ministry of Food Processing Industries.
