Spying on spouse’s phone is now punishable in Saudi Arabia

Spying on your spouse’s phone is no more a light matter in Saudi, rather it is now a criminal offence potentially punishable by a hefty fine – and a year in jail. Tourist visa rules completed in Saudi

The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTNH) has announced that the regulations for tourist visas have been completed and submitted to the higher authorities for approval, said a SCTNH statement quoted by the Center of International Communication (CIC). Abu Dhabi concludes three-city roadshow to China

A tourism delegation led by the Department of Culture and Tourism– Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has successfully concluded three-day, three city roadshow in China. RTA replaces waterbuses in Marina by air-conditioned abras

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has replaced several waterbuses by air-conditioned abras in Dubai Marina. The new abras are more convenient to riders and have better operational efficiency. Saudi Arabia won’t retain passports of Indian crew on arrival

The government of Saudi Arabia has decided not to retain the passports of the Indian airline crew members on arrival in the country and issue a bar code instead. The move comes as a big relief to the crew of Air India and Jet Airways, the two Indian airlines which fly to Saudi. Dubai gets its first 24/7 bookshop at Sports City, which doesn’t employ any staff and is not by any robots. 53,000 Mitsubishi Pajeros recalled from UAE

The Ministry of Economy has issued a recall for 2013 to 2017 Mitsubishi Pajeros due to air bag defects. The V90W/V80W models made between January 2013 and December 2017 needs to be repaired. “We regret to inform that due to usage condition, the changes of temperature and longtime humidity, the propellant (ammonium nitrate) in the inflator for passenger side frontal airbag may be deteriorated and, as a result, the inflator body may rupture at the time of airbag deployment.
