Emirates enhances Luanda service

Emirates announced that it will reinstate two weekly flights between Luanda and Dubai, increasing capacity to five flights per week between the two cities, starting from 1 July 2018. Customers can look forward to a daily service starting from the winter schedule. These additional flights will give passengers more travel choices and address the growing demand for connectivity on Emirates’ global network, especially to destinations in Asia, USA and Europe. Emirates sets new record with in-flight Wi-Fi connections

Emirates has set a new record with over 1 million Wi-Fi connections made on board its flights in March alone. During the month, 1,037,016 Emirates customers connected to the internet during their flight. The connections were mainly made over mobile devices with over 94 per cent of users connecting with a smartphone –twice as many connections were made on an iOS mobile phone as compared to an Android mobile, and about 2 per cent with a tablet. RTA replaces waterbuses in Marina by air-conditioned abras

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has replaced several waterbuses by air-conditioned abras in Dubai Marina. The new abras are more convenient to riders and have better operational efficiency. They avail riders an enhanced view of the picturesque landscape of Dubai city, and offer the service at exactly the same fare. “The teams of Marine Transport Department have replaced some water buses by new air-conditioned abras at the Dubai Marina. Dubai to allow transit passengers to tour emirate

According to a proposal put forward by the Dubai Airports, it would soon allow the transit passengers to Dubai to leave the airport to experience the city in no time. “Dubai Airports proposes “Microcosm of Dubai” as part of @Dubai10X Initiative overseen by Dubai Future Foundation… In Dubai transit time will become tourism as passengers are encouraged to leave the airport to experience the city,” tweeted the Dubai Media Office through their official twitter handle.
