Japan National Tourism Organization along with Thomas Cook & All Nippon Airways is conducting a joint promotional activity to promote tourism to Japan from the Indian Market at both domestic and international airports of Mumbai. Israeli airline Arkia to launch direct flights to Kochi and Goa

Israeli airline Arkia Airlines Ltd. announce to introduce flights to Goa and Cochin in the state of Kerala. Arkia is joining El Al Israel Airlines Ltd., which operates direct flights to Mumbai, and Air India, which flies from Tel Aviv to Delhi on a shorter route passing above Saudi Arabia. Jewar Noida International Airport to begin operations in 2022

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to inaugurate the Jewar Noida International Airport (JNIA), also known as the New Greater Delhi Airport redevelopment project between February 23-25, 2019. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the USD 3.1 billion project, which will be the largest airport in India by surface area. Bengaluru and Mumbai airports to partially shut down in February

Starting today, nearly 5,000 flights at Mumbai airport are being cancelled till March end for six hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays between 7 February and 30 March 2019. The planned closure at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport is for airport re-carpeting and relaying the two cross runways that happens typically every six-seven years. SpiceJet will start a daily direct flight between Hyderabad and Jeddah from March 25, 2019. This is the ninth foreign destination of the airline. Emirates sign codeshare deal with China South Airlines

Emirates and China Southern Airlines have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to progress a comprehensive reciprocal codeshare agreement, which is set to open up new destinations for passengers travelling between China and the Middle East and Africa. The partnership with the Guangzhou-based carrier also allows Emirates’ passengers to enjoy seamless connectivity on domestic flights within China, adding eight new destinations to its global network. Emirates celebrates 15 years of connecting Ghana to the world

Emirates has celebrated a milestone in its operation to Ghana, marking 15 years of service to Accra. The first Emirates flight flew into Kotoka International Airport in January 2004, and the airline has since carried close to 1.6 million passengers between Accra and Dubai and its network.
