SpiceJet announces launch of 28 new domestic flights

SpiceJet will launch 28 new domestic flights across the country from October 31 onwards, the airline said Monday. It will launch multiple new non-stop flights connecting the tourist hotspots of Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Udaipur in Rajasthan with key metros and cities as part of its new winter schedule, SpiceJet said in a statement. SpiceJet will also connect Bagdogra with Ahmedabad, Kolkata with Srinagar and add two new flights on the Bengaluru-Pune sector, it said. SpiceJet revamps website with latest technology

SpiceJet on Wednesday said it has launched a revamped website with improved features to offer its customers superior experience. “The use of latest technology has helped ensure that SpiceJet’s system (revamped website) is fast, scalable and secure,” the private airline said in a statement. It said the new website is designed to facilitate quick changes, making fast introduction of new products and offers to the customers. “The new website will also allow passengers to check and compare seven days lowest fares on our enhanced flight selection page with additional filter options,” the airline added.

Spice Jet inducts 2 more wide bodied aircrafts to its cargo fleet

SpiceJet has inducted two more wide-body planes – a Boeing 767 and Airbus A330 – into its cargo fleet. With the latest induction, SpiceJet will have a dedicated fleet of 19 cargo aircraft, including five wide-body jets. Other than the wide-body aircraft, SpiceJet’s cargo fleet includes five Boeing 737 freighters and nine Q-400s. SpiceJet has launched eight new non-stop international flights from Mumbai and Delhi. The airline is the first Indian LCC to connect Mumbai with Riyadh and Dhaka and Delhi with Dhaka and Jeddah. Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, earmarks SpiceJet’s 10th international destination and the fourth station in the Middle Eastern market. SpiceJet has introduced a daily non-stop flight on Mumbai-Jeddah-Mumbai sector from July 5. SpiceJet has started 28 daily flights connecting Mumbai and Delhi with other cities on its domestic network from today. Kolkata, Bengaluru flights to remain cancelled

Flight No. SG-578 from Kanpur to Kolkata will remain cancelled from March 17 to March 30 due to regulatory requirements. Similarly, another flight SG-726 from Kanpur to Bengaluru, will also remain cancelled from March 18 to March 20. “The flights have been cancelled as per the orders of director general, civil aviation.
