KLM to launch direct Bengaluru-Amsterdam flight from October 28

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is all set fly from Bengaluru to Amsterdam, starting October 28, 2019. The launch of this new flight comes in line with the suspension of Jet Airways’ service to the route. The frequency of the flight will be thrice a week on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with a configuration of 30 seats in business class, 45 seats in the economy comfort class and 219 seats in economy. Jazeera Airways to fly from Ahmedabad to Bodrum via Kuwait

Kuwaiti airline, Jazeera Airways will start flying from Ahmedabad to Bodrum, Turkey via Kuwait starting June 20. The inaugural flight will depart from Ahmedabad every Thursday at 5:35 am (IST) and will return to Ahmedabad every Monday. Economy class on the flight will cost around Rs 18,700. Air India to launch Red Eye flight to Delhi from Bengaluru

Air India is planning to start Red Eye flights to Delhi from Bengaluru. The first Red Eye flight will make its debut at 11 pm on June 5 from Bengaluru airport and reach Delhi at 1.30 am on June 6. The cost of a ticket on a Red Eye flight is much cheaper than day flights, which makes it attractive for a flyer. Virgin Atlantic is relaunching flights between London Heathrow and Mumbai, India, with flights on sale from May 28, 2019. Korean Air to discontinue first-class on India routes

Korean Air has announced that starting June 1, the airline will cease to operate First Class Cabin on Airbus A330-200 which operates on Delhi (KE 482/KE 481) and Mumbai (KE 656/KE 655) routes. The airline has a total of six first-class cabins, which will be discontinued starting next month. As per the revised configuration, the airline will only have two-class configuration on both the Delhi and Mumbai routes. AirAsia India to fly international by October

AirAsia India is planning to start international operations by October this year, said Sanjay Kumar, Chief Operating Officer of the airline. “Our plan is to first fly to the Southeast Asian market and start with flights to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. Our target is that we will fly about 7-8 per cent of our total available seat kilometres to international locations in the first year of operations,” he said. Amazon launches domestic flight booking service in India

Now, you can easily book your domestic flights in addition to shopping, money transfers, utility bill payments, mobile recharges — all through one single app, the e-commerce giant Amazon said. Amazon has partnered with online travel and leisure activities platform Cleartrip to launch the service. “We are excited to partner with Cleartrip and share their passion of creating best in class travel experiences,” said Shariq Plasticwala, Director, Amazon Pay, in a statement. SpiceJet to launch daily non-stop flight between Jeddah and Mumbai from July 5

SpiceJet has introduced a daily non-stop flight on Mumbai-Jeddah-Mumbai sector from July 5. Mumbai is the third destination after Hyderabad and Kozhikode which is being connected by SpiceJet with the pilgrim city of Jeddah. Emirates has demonstrated its commitment to fostering innovation in the global aviation industry by signing MoUs with three teams from the sixth cohort of the Dubai Future Accelerators (DFA) programme. Scoot starts non-stop daily to Thiruvananthapuram from Singapore

Budget-carrier of Singapore Airlines, Scoot has launched its daily non-stop flight from Singapore to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The airline also announced to cease its operations from Lucknow by June-end owing to weak demand on the route.
