AirAsia India to fly international by October

AirAsia India is planning to start international operations by October this year, said Sanjay Kumar, Chief Operating Officer of the airline. “Our plan is to first fly to the Southeast Asian market and start with flights to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. Our target is that we will fly about 7-8 per cent of our total available seat kilometres to international locations in the first year of operations,” he said. Etihad to introduce Boeing 787 to Kuala Lumpur and Brussels

Etihad Airways will introduce Boeing 787-9 on its daily scheduled services from Abu Dhabi to Kuala Lumpur, effective 20 December this year, and to Brussels, effective 3 January 2019. AirAsia launches flights between Amritsar and KL

AirAsia X has launched flights between Kuala Lumpur and Amritsar. The evening flights, D7188 and D7189, will operate four times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Passengers from 15 cities, including Bali, Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore and Bangkok, will be able to connect (via Kuala Lumpur) to Amritsar alongside existing routes to New Delhi and Jaipur using AirAsia’s Fly-Thru service. “We are excited to bring the AirAsia experience to Amritsar for the very first time.
