Wayanad is a destination which ideally should cater to high volume-low traffic tourism, says Wayanad Tourism Organisation (WTO) President KR Vancheeswaran in an interview. The four-day Wayanad Splash 2019, organised in association with the State Tourism Department and Wayanad Tourism Organisation to showcase the numerous tourist attractions and activities in Wayanad, has concluded. The newly operational Kannur International airport has been changing the perspective of tourism in northern Kerala. The objective of the rally is to announce that Wayanad is safe and ready to receive tourists in all respects.
