Tourists can now watch Udupi from above, flying on a helicopter

People in and around Udupi can now enjoy the view of the picturesque city from above, flying on a helicopter. Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat has inaugurated a 3 day heli-tour programme at Udupi on 11th January 2019. The event was organized by the district administration in association with Mantra Tourism Development and Chipsan Aviation Company, to attract more tourists to the city. The heli-tourism will be conducted for 3 days in Kundapur. The chopper trip route will include Udupi, Malpe fisheries port, St Mary’s, Hoode, Manipal and the surrounding areas. Tamil Nadu tourists can soon fly on helicopters

Tourists in Tamil Nadu will soon be able to travel across their destinations on air. A feasibility report on heli-tourism has been submitted to the state government, as informed by KJ Alphons, Minister of Tourism, in the Lok Sabha. “The study was done for the introduction of helicopter services to provide heli- tourism in Tamil Nadu state including Madurai and the preliminary report in this regard has been submitted to the state government,” said the minister. Heli Tourism to be launched in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh

Krishna district administration is all set to launch heli tourism in an effort to boost tourism sector of the region. The prime reason to initiate this venture is to put away visitors time during travelling. The region consists of major attractions like Kanaka Durga temple, Bhavani Island, Gandhi Hill and Manginapudi.
