Sandisk launches 400GB Micro SD Card

With their latest innovation, the card sets its title as the world’s fastest UHS-I flash memory card. The card has a data reading speed of 160 MBps followed by a write speed of over 90 MBps, which is faster than its predecessor models. The massive speed is achieved by the 3D NAND technology that can further launch an application at quick speeds. IATA to support Bio-Fuels

The International Air Transport Association (IATA), as part of reducing the rising atmosphere pollution is about to promote the use of biofuel in flights by 2025. Biofuels are different from conventional fuels used on Jets. Saudi welcomes its women to join army

Now, for the first time, Saudi authorities have opened up army registration to women. Women interested in becoming soldiers can submit their applications until Thursday. Dubai celebrates National Day of Kuwait

A large number of Kuwaiti nationals and people from many other nationalities participated in grand celebrations held in Dubai marking Kuwait’s National Day on 25 February. The celebrations featured concerts by Miami Band from Kuwait and singer Bader AlShaibi, a culinary session by famous Kuwaiti chef, Jameela Al Lenqawi, an appearance by popular Kuwaiti foodie influencer, Talal Al Rashed, in addition to a spectacular fireworks show and cultural activities including performances by traditional bands. During a dinner hosted by influencer Al Rashed, Emirati artiste Omar Al Marzooqi performed a special song to celebrate Kuwait’s National Day.

UAE: Rainy, dusty weather until Friday

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said the weather is expected to be frequently partly cloudy with different formations of clouds moving from central Saudi Arabia towards Dubai, in the coming days. It has also alerted the citizens to take precautions while driving in rainy conditions and poor visibility due to blowing sand or dust during the next three days. Next time when you are visiting Goa, make sure that you hop on the brand new electric cars. The Government of Goa is on a new milestone by deploying new electric buses, as part of the green protocol for its public transportation system. The first phase of the programme will be on a trial basis and if it succeeds the government would extend the service by adding 100 more buses. Eravikulam shut for Tahr calving

The Eravikulam National Park, abode of the highly endangered Nilgiri tahr, will remain closed to visitors till March 31. Chief Wildlife Warden said the two-month closure was an annual affair during the calving season of the tahrs. Online ticket booking will resume after the park reopens. The mating season of the tahrs is between June and August and the gestation period is nearly six months. The tahr population at the park was stable, with the number exceeding 1,000 in Rajamala under the Eravikulam National Par. Lulu Group to invest Rs 2,500 cr in Telangana

Lulu Group, promoted by Yusuffali MA, has signed three MoUs with the Telangana government, to develop retail and food processing industry in the state. The agreement was signed during the UAE visit of Telangana Industries Minister K T Rama Rao to Lulu group Head Office in Abu Dhabi.
