Namom Railway station Indian Railways to build a new Coaching Terminal at Nemom in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Piyush Goyal, Minister of Railways, laid the foundation stone for the terminal and unveiled WAP-7HS passenger locomotive through video conferencing on 7th March 2019. Indian railway extends 22 pairs of train services running on Indian Railways system. It was announced by Piyush Goyal, Minister or Railways and Coal, in Rail Bhavan on Wednesday. These extensions will provide additional connectivity between various places in the country. Indian Railways will run a glass-enclosed ‘vistadome’ coach on the Kalka-Shimla route in the next ten days. It was announced by Piyush Goyal, Minister of Railways and Coal, Government of India, on his twitter page. “A view of the glass-enclosed Vistadome coach in Kalka, which is scheduled to run on the Kalka-Shimla route in the next 10 days. ‘നിരക്കിളവ് ഉപേക്ഷിക്കല് പദ്ധതി’ റെയില്വേ വ്യാപിപ്പിക്കുന്നു
53 വിഭാഗം യാത്രക്കാര്ക്കാണ് റെയില്വേ നിരക്കിളവ് നല്കുന്നത്. അതില് മുതിര്ന്ന പൗരന്മാര്ക്കിടയിലാണ് നിരക്കിളവ് ഉപേക്ഷിക്കല് പദ്ധതി പരീക്ഷിച്ചത്. റെക്കോര്ഡ് വിജയം കണ്ട പരീക്ഷണം മറ്റ് വിഭാഗങ്ങളിലൂടെ പരീക്ഷിക്കാന് ഒരുങ്ങുകയാണ് റെയില്വേ. വിവിധ വിഭാഗത്തിലുള്ളവര്ക്ക് നിരക്കിളവ് നല്കുന്നതിലൂടെ വര്ഷം 33,000 കോടി രൂപയാണ് റെയില്വേയ്ക്ക് ബാധ്യത വരുന്നത്. ഇത് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി മുതിര്ന്ന പൗരന്മാര്ക്കുള്ള സബ്സിഡി ഉപേക്ഷിക്കാന് അഭ്യര്ഥിച്ചുള്ള പ്രചാരണത്തെ തുടര്ന്ന് 19 ലക്ഷം പേര് അനുകൂലമായി പ്രതികരിച്ചത്. പദ്ധതി നടപ്പാക്കിയതിലൂടെ 32 കോടി രൂപ അധികലാഭം ലഭിച്ചുവെന്ന് റെയില്വേ അധികൃതര് പറഞ്ഞു. ഭിന്നശേഷിക്കാര്, അര്ബുദ-വൃക്ക രോഗികള്, ഹൃദ്രോഗികള്, വീര ചരമം പ്രാപിച്ച സൈനികരുടെ വിധവകള്, വിദ്യാര്ഥികള് തുടങ്ങിയവരാണ് ഇളവിന് അര്ഹര്. പൂര്ണമായോ ഭാഗികമായോ ഇളവ് ഉപേക്ഷിക്കണമെന്ന് അഭ്യര്ഥിച്ച് ഈ വിഭാഗക്കാര്ക്ക് റെയില്വേ മന്ത്രി പീയുഷ് ഗോയലിന്റെ പേരില് കത്തയക്കും. ഇതു സംബന്ധിച്ച് വെബ്സൈറ്റ് തയ്യാറാക്കി അതില് ഇളവ് ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചവരുടെ പേര് വിവരങ്ങളും പദ്ധതിയിലൂടെ റെയില്വേ സമാഹരിച്ച തുകയുടെ കണക്കും അപ്പപ്പോള് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുമെന്നും അധികൃതര് അറിയിച്ചു.
പാനിപ്പത്ത്-ഡല്ഹി പാസഞ്ചര് പുനരാരംഭിക്കുമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി

Ladies-only train to be restarted on Delhi-Panipat section

The minister said that the move to restart the train is after observing a large number of women commute between Delhi and Panipat daily. The train is likely to be restarted within the next three to four days. “The train service was stopped due to some difficulties which has caused a lot of resentment among women passengers who faced commuting problems,” Jain said.
