With an aim to promote India as a heritage tourism destination, MakeMyTrip has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) for convenient and hassle-free online booking for 116 historical monuments and sites across India. Augmented reality app in Korean to promote heritage sites in India

An augmented reality-based mobile application has been launched in Korean language to offer visual travel assistance to tourists from South Korea. The top ten revenue generating monuments during 2015-18 are Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, Sun Temple Konark, Group of monuments Mamallapuram, Ellora Caves, Group of monuments Khajuraho, and Ajanta Caves, Aurangabad.
