Urban Tourism hub to be set up in Muvattupuzha for Domestic Tourists

The Urban Tourism Hub will be started as the headquarters of the Municipal Park for domestic tourists under the auspices of the Corporation. Plans are also afoot to turn Muvattupuzha, the district’s satellite city, into a G_water Sports Hub. A major project will be implemented, including the construction of a floating bridge across the Thodupuzha River to connect it to the park. Minister P. A Mohammad Riyaz has said that at least one tourist center will be set up in all the panchayats in the state. Campaigns will be launched in various countries to attract tourists for planning their Kerala Trip. He said the target was to attract 20 lakh tourists to the state by 2025. The aim is to double the number of tourists arriving by 2025 and 2022 is expected to be the year of covid-free tourism. Muhammad Riyaz. KSRTC’s new venture; Tent camping facilities for tourists in Munnar

Tent camping and campfire is the latest project being prepared by KSRTC for tourists in Munnar. This is part of the goal of providing better accommodation at a lower cost. The tent facility will be set up at Eucalyptus Estate near Munnar old KSRTC depot and two tents and a campfire will be set up in the first phase. The tents are affordable for four people at Rs 200 per person, but if the two tents are rented together, it will cost Rs 700.
