‘Lokame Tharavadu’ (The World is One Family) art exhibition Launched in Alappuzha

Lokame Tharavadu (The World Is One Family) is a large-scale curated contemporary art exhibition of Malayali artists, organized by the Kochi Biennale Foundation. Over 260 artists will be exhibiting a collection of their works, to foreground each of their practices. Lokame Tharavadu is conceptualized as a congregation of the best of resident and Pravasi artists, in consonance with the Loka Kerala Sabha initiative of the government. Iowa’s annual music event Butter Cow Festival to be held in August, with safety regulations in place

The novel coronavirus has halted many of the usual events across Iowa, including the Iowa State Fair, that help draw tourism and income during summer. But not all of Iowa’s traditional events have been nixed: Des Moines’ Butter Cow Festival is still a go, according to a report by Des Moines Register. NICE and HTM postponed

The Nepal-India-China Expo (NICE) and Himalayan Travel Mart (HTM) have been postponed to next year, due to the spread of the corona virus and its growing impact on the tourism industry. These events were scheduled to take place from June 12-15 this year. These will now be held next year and the dates will be made known later.

ITB India to be postponed to April 2021

The ITB India, billed as the gateway to the Indian travel market, will now be held in April next year. The two-day event will take place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre from April 7-9. The ITB India organisers will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide further updates based on official assessment of the overall situation. It was supposed to be held this year from April 15-17. The organisers said the event has been postponed to ensure the safety of ITB India’s exhibitors, buyers and visitors, following the spread of COVID-19.
