Former Prime Minister Narasimha Rao’s native village to be turned into tourism spot

Telangana is planning to construct a memorial tourism site at former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao’s village exhibiting his life and struggles. Rao’s native village is Vangara in Warangal.  State tourism minister V Srinivas Goud visited Vangara and revealed the plan for the development of the village as a tourism spot. Telangana Tourism comes up with health spa in Warangal

Warangal is not just a historic or heritage location anymore. The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) has come up with a health spa in Warangal. The spa aims at providing healthcare through Ayurvedic procedures. TSTDC in association with the Haritha Hotels and Hitayu Ayurvedic and Physiotherapy Hospital has come up with the idea with an aim to promote medical and wellness tourism in the region. The spa is functioning at the healthcare facility in the Haritha hotel. The spa is also open for the locals. Medaram to be made top tourist hub

Telangana government is planning to set up amphitheatre, tribal museum, food court and cottages at Medaram and develop it as a permanent tourist destination. The State government had already brought up Haritha tourism hotel for Rs 7.5 crore and tribal museum for Rs 2 crore. “The tourists are coming to Medaram all along the year hence it has been decided to develop Medaram as permanent tourist attraction.
