The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) is planning to develop budget hotels in all district headquarters on the lines of Haritha chain of hotels and resorts with an aim to boost tourism in the state. TSTDC has written a letter to District Collectors in this regard, seeking allotment of required land for the proposed budget hotels that would provide affordable accommodation to tourists visiting various destinations. The spa aims at providing healthcare through Ayurvedic procedures. TSTDC in association with the Haritha Hotels and Hitayu Ayurvedic and Physiotherapy Hospital has come up with the idea with an aim to promote medical and wellness tourism in the region. As the Telangana state celebrates its 4th anniversary, the government’s prime lift irrigation project Kaleshwaram will be added to the tour circuit on June 2nd. The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) will have a day-long special tour from Hyderabad to Kaleshwaram. They will also be conducting a paragliding event from Jun 3rd-5th at Bison Polo Grounds, Secunderabad, first of its kind in the state.
