Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurates floating jetty at Old Goa

Union Minister of State (I/C) for Ports, Shipping & Waterways Shri Mansukh Mandaviya in the presence of Chief Minister of Goa Shri Pramod Sawant inaugurated the second floating jetty at Old Goa virtually yesterday on the occasion of Goa statehood day. Shri Mandaviya expressed hope that the floating jetty at Old Goa will prove a game-changer for the tourism sector of Goa. New cable stayed bridge over river Mandovi in Goa to be inaugurated on Sunday

Mandovi Bridge Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways will inaugurate the newly built, 5.1 km long, four-lane, cable stayed bridge over river Mandovi in Goa on Sunday, 27th January 2019. The bridge will support and sustain burgeoning traffic in Panjim. It will facilitate routing of Mumbai bound traffic coming in from Bangalore via Ponda route and Old Goa towards NH-17, bypassing the main Panjim City. White water rafting on Mhadei river restarts

Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) said it has recommenced its white water rafting activity on Mhadei river till September this year. There will be two rafting trips held each day with the first trip starting at 9:30 am and the second at 2:30 pm. Each trip will go on for 2.5 to 3.5 hours running 10 km each. For white water rafting, people are needed to assemble at The Earthen Pot Restaurant in Valpoi. There will be a 25-minute drive and a 10-minute walk from there to the Mhadei river valley.
