Government of Odisha has decided to organise an international-level coastal festival, ‘Marine Drive Eco Retreat’, near Konark from December 14, 2019 to January 14, 2020. The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. The festival, to be held on the Marine Drive, will have cultural programmes, 3D mapping, food festivals and adventure and water sports. A luxurious tent cottage with 50 rooms will come up with water, electricity and parking facilities.
