Indian Hotels Company to revamp Ginger hotels

The Indian Hotels Company is planning to spend Rs 180-200 crore to revamp budget brand Ginger Hotels. The estimated cost, as per ET reports, is Rs 8-10 lakh per key. The company is planning to renovate hotels located in key markets over the next two years and is evaluating monetising its assets to fund the proposed renovation. IHCL enters Saudi with first Taj property in Makkah

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) that runs the Taj brand of luxury hotels, entered into Saudi Arabia with a 340-keys property in Makkah. IHCL, in partnership with Umm Al Qura Development and Construction Company, will open the hotel in January 2023 in the tony King Abdul Aziz Road (KAAR) project, one of the largest urban rejuvenation projects in Makkah.
