Abu Dhabi to eye on Kazakhstan & Ukraine Tourists

Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has been conduction promotional activities aimed at reinforcing ties with the key stakeholders in the tourism industry and to explore new opportunities.

As part of the promotional activities, a tourism delegation led by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has conducted a road-show to Kazakhstan and Ukraine, two key destinations within the Commonwealth of Independent States, to attract more tourists form these places.

Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi

As per the relaxed visa rules, Ukrainian travellers can have a visa on arrival when reaching Abu Dhabi, while Kazakh visitors can now get a free visa for 30 days when they land.

The delegation consisted of representatives from UAE’s national carrier Etihad Airways and Yas Experiences, along with local and international hotels located in Abu Dhabi.

Warner Bros. World, Abu Dhabi

As a result of the Kazakhstan road-show more than 90 local travel trade experts expressed their interest to participate in the tourism programs of Abu Dhabi. One of the major attractions is Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi Park, opening on Saadiyat Island schedule on July 25.

DCT Abu Dhabi expected to have 20 per cent increase in the number of visitors form from Kazakhstan, while the Ukrainian market has already shown 59 per cent growth this year.
