UAE announces multiple-entry tourist visas new remote working residency visa

The UAE cabinet has approved a new self-sponsored Remote Work Visa that will enable employees from all over the world to live and work remotely from the UAE, even if their companies are based in another country. The one-year visa allows foreigners to enter the UAE and work in line with terms and conditions issued with the visa. The new scheme aims to support the public and private sector, and also enables employees to expand their digital skills and adapt to the emerging gig economy. The union health minister said that the advancements in India’s healthcare facilities have led to a spike of medical tourism in India. Thailand Starts welcoming visitors slowly but safely

Thailand’s tourism sector continues to safely and slowly reopen welcoming international travellers to the country with special tourist initiatives, while also remaining vigilant by enforcing strict public health guidelines to protect all during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Royal Thai Government recently lifted restrictions on the Special Tourist Visa (STV), which allows entry for tourists from any country or territory worldwide. Prior to this, STV holders were only allowed from low-risk countries. The STV offers visitors an initial 90-day visa with two extensions totalling 270 days. Oman to restart issuing of Tourist Visas

Oman will resume issuing tourist visas to select categories of individuals, the country’s Supreme Committee dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic ruled on Monday, November 30. In June, it decided to extend the validity of tourist visas until March 2021. All tourist visas issued from March 1, 2020, until August 31, 2020, were eligible for the extension. A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said, “The Supreme committee decided to allow the issuance of tourist visas to enter the Sultanate, provided that the arrival of tourists is within the framework of tourist groups organized by hotels and tourism companies.” ...
