Tourist arrivals up by 7.1% in Singapore

As per the recent statistics by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), tourist arrivals for the first quarter of the current year were up by 7.1 per cent compared with the same period last year. Around 17.4 million visitors arrived last year and their spending hit $26.8 billion. “The winds are in our favour because the outbound growth potential in the Asia-Pacific is the highest in the world. STB launches one-stop tourism resource platform for businesses

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has launched Tourism Information and Service Hub, an online platform that allows businesses to contribute and access content, including travel software services for use on digital channels. The new platform, which was announced last year, is the first of its kind and acts as a one-stop tourism resource for businesses. Singapore Tourism inks deal with Paytm, offers huge discounts

Paytm, India’s mobile-first financial services platform, has become a household name in the country within a short span. Understanding the potential of Paytm and its reach among 300 million active users, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has recently entered into a strategic partnership with Paytm to joint run promotions on its platform to promote Singapore tourism.
