ADB approves Rs 1,900 crore tourism projects in Himachal

Bantony Castle With an aim to explore the untapped tourism potential of the state, Himachal Pradesh government has sought financial aid from Asian Development Bank (ADB) and got approval for projects worth of Rs 1,900 crores. Himachal Pradesh seeks ADB assistance for tourism promotion at Mandi

Vallabh Government Degree College at Mandi Himachal Pradesh is seeking approval for a 50 crore tourism development fund from Asian Development Bank. It was informed by Jai Ram Thakur, Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, while addressing a public meeting at Vallabh Government Degree College at Mandi. Himachal Pradesh to have multiple tourism promotion programmes

Himachal Pradesh government plan to have a light and sound show to depict the history of Shimla and its association with the Indian freedom struggle. “A place will be chosen for the light and sound show in line with the Cellular Jail in Andaman and Nicobar Islands,” said Jai Ram Thakur, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. Himachal receives Rs 1800 cr projects for tourism development

The Himachal Pradesh government has got approval from the Central government for projects worth Rs 1,800 crore for tourism development, informed the state Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. The minister added that efforts would be made to develop lesser-known areas from the tourism point of view. “The Gada Gushaini area would be developed from eco-tourism point of view,” he said.
