Etihad to fly to seven Indian destinations shortly – Bengaluru, Kochi, Chennai included

Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways will add 15 more destinations shortly, which will include some major cities across the Indian subcontinent. “Throughout July, we’re planning to operate flights to more than 40 worldwide destinations. We continue to work closely with the UAE government and global aviation authorities to increase our network in the future,” the UAE carrier said on its website. Athens, Greece, was the latest destination it added, taking the total number of international flights being flown by Etihad through June to 25 destinations. Etihad Airways lands first ever charter flight in Cuba

Etihad has landed a plane in Cuba for the very first time. The airline flew from Abu Dhabi to Havana, helping Cuban nationals return home. Taking off from Abu Dhabi International Airport, Etihad pilots flew the Boeing 777-300 jet for over 21 hours to land at Jose Marti International Airport, just outside Cuba’s capital. It’s the first time that the airline has ever flown to the island nation in the Caribbean Sea. Etihad to link 20 cities, after UAE permits transit flights

Etihad Airways has announced plans to link 20 cities in Europe, Asia and Australia via Abu Dhabi, following the decision of the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) to reopen UAE airports for transit flights. Etihad recently launched links from Melbourne and Sydney to London Heathrow, allowing direct transfer connections to and from the UK capital via Abu Dhabi.
