Kurnool Airport Inaugurated

Kurnool Airport, at Orvakal, Andhra Pradesh was inaugurated on 25th MAR by Y.S Jaganmohan Reddy, Chief Minister, Andhra Pradesh, joined virtually by Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State Civil Aviation . Kurnool is the 6th airport in Andhra Pradesh to become functional after Kadapa, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Rajahmundry & Vijayawada. The flight operations at Kurnool airport will commence on 28th March 2021 under the Regional Connectivity Scheme – Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik (RCS-UDAN). AP Government gifts Restart package to the Tourism industry

In a welcome move, the Andhra Pradesh government has approved a restart package to the tourism sector of the state. Through this, the state government has offered a restart package to the tune of INR 198.5 crore with interest subvention for assisting tourism establishments to restart their operations and support their fixed expenses and wage liabilities.
