Vaishno Devi Temple, Kashmir Tourism officials and private stakeholders have urged the Gujarati counterparts to visit Kashmir to alleviate the negative impressions about visiting Kashmir.  They were participating in the three-day Travel and Tourism Fair at Ahmedabad, as part of the country wide Kashmir tourism promotional campaign, which was started last week. Srinagar-Jammu highway reopened on Saturday, 30th June, after remain closed for a day due to landslide and shooting stones caused by heavy rains. Closing of the 300 Km long passage connecting Kashmir to the rest of country adversely affected the traffic, including the Amarnath pilgrimage, which started recently.

അമർനാഥ് ഗുഹാക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ സ്വയംഭൂവായ ഹിമലിംഗം പ്രത്യക്ഷമായി. ശ്രാവണ മാസത്തിലെ ശുക്ലപക്ഷാരംഭത്തോടെ രൂപപ്പെടുന്ന ഹിമലിംഗം പൗർണമി നാളിൽ പൂർണരൂപത്തിലെത്തും. കശ്മീരിലെ അനന്തനാഗ് ജില്ലയിലാണ് അമര്‍നാഥ് ഗുഹാക്ഷേത്രമുള്ളത്ത്. സമുദ്രനിരപ്പിൽനിന്ന് 3888 അടി ഉയരത്തിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രകൃതിനിർമിത ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് അമർനാഥിലേത്. ജൂൺ, ജൂലൈ മാസങ്ങളിൽ പൂർണരൂപത്തിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷമാകുന്ന ഹിമലിംഗത്തിന് ആറടിയിൽ കൂടുതൽ ഉയരമുണ്ടാകും. ദേവന്മാരുടെ ആഗ്രഹപ്രകാരം ശ്രാവണമാസത്തിലെ പൗർണമി മുതൽ കൃഷ്ണപക്ഷത്തിലെ അമാവാസി വരെ മഹാദേവൻ ഈ ഗുഹയിൽ ലിംഗരൂപത്തിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നുവെന്നാണ് വിശ്വാസം. പരമശിവൻ അമരനായതിന്‍റെ രഹസ്യമന്ത്രം പാർവതിദേവിക്ക് ഉപദേശിച്ചു നൽകിയത് അമർനാഥ് ഗുഹയിൽ വച്ചാണെന്നും വിശ്വാസമുണ്ട്. ശിവലിംഗത്തിനു പുറമെ ഗുഹയ്ക്കകത്തു പാർവതിയുടെയും ഗണപതിയുടെയും ഹിമരൂപങ്ങളും പ്രത്യക്ഷ്യമാവാറുണ്ട്. ശ്രാവണമാസത്തില്‍ മാത്രമാണ് ഇവ കാണാനാവുക. അറുപതു ദിവസം നീളുന്ന കശ്‌മീരിലെ അമർനാഥ് തീർഥയാത്ര ജൂൺ 28ന് ആരംഭിക്കും. 40 ദിവസമായിരുന്നു സാധാരണ യാത്രയുടെ സമയപരിധി. ഇക്കുറി 20 ദിവസം കൂടി നീട്ടി. മഞ്ഞുവീഴ്ചയിൽ അമർനാഥ് ഗുഹയിലേക്കുളള യാത്രാമാർഗം നിലവിൽ തടസ്സപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്. എന്നാൽ ജൂൺ 28നു മുമ്പ് തടസങ്ങൾ ...
