ADTOI urges govt to help tourism sector tide over cash crunch

The Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) has urged the central government to take steps that will help the tourism industry to tide over its cash crunch, in the light of the coronavirus outbreak. In a meeting with the tourism ministry, a 10 member multi-association team discussed a series of steps that could revive the sector. The ADTOI team requested the ministry to provide a complete GST tax holiday for the travel and hospitality industry for the next 12 months. ADTOI Convention to be held in Ahmedabad from Aug 16-18

The Association of Domestic Tour Operators (ADTOI), along with the Govt. of Gujarat is set to organise its next convention in Ahmedabad, Gujarat from August 16-18, 2019. The information was announced PP Khanna, President, ADTOI at their General House Meeting and GST session held at Hotel Samrat in New Delhi. PP Khanna will be the Convention Chairman, while Anil Rajput and Sanjay Saxena will be the Co-Chairman. The venue of the convention has not been decided. PP Khanna re-elected as President of ADTOI

PP Khanna has got re-elected as the President of Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) for the term 2018-20. Khanna, leading the Team Progressive, won his second term as the President with 183 votes at the term elections held in New Delhi. Khanna has defeated Team Innovative’s Rajat Sahney, who has secured 105 votes. Rajesh Arya has been elected as the Vice President with 152 votes, Chetan Gupta, with 164 votes, as the General Secretary, Dalip Gupta, with 169 votes, as Treasurer and with 168 votes, Anil Kr Rajput has been elected as Joint Secretary.
