Thalassery is a landmark in ancient, medieval and modern Indian history. Thalassery Heritage Run is 10.5 km long run event that connects heritage spots in Thalassery. The event is organised by DTPC Kannur. Event starts from  V R Krishna Iyer Memorial Muncipal Stadium, passes through different heritage spots in Thalassery-Thalassery Fort, St John’s Anglican Church, Thazhe Angadi Heritage Street, Sree Jagannath Temple, Thiruvangad Sree Ramaswamy Temple, Odathil Mosque, Fire Tank, Parise Hotel Street and back to Muncipal Stadium. Four consecutive Sundays of May, beginning on May 6, would be dedicated to the promotion of various adventure events in Kannur.
