ബര്‍ലിന്‍ രാജ്യാന്തര ട്രാവല്‍ മേള: കേരള ടൂറിസത്തിന് പുരസ്‌ക്കാരം
ബര്‍ലിനില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന രാജ്യാന്തര ട്രാവല്‍ മേളയില്‍ കേരള ടൂറിസത്തിന് ഗോള്‍ഡന്‍ സിറ്റി ഗേറ്റ് പുരസ്‌ക്കാരം .ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സ്വന്തം നാടായ കേരളത്തിന്റെ കലയും സംസ്ക്കാരവും ഉയര്‍ത്തി കാട്ടുന്ന ‘ലീവ് ഇന്‍സ്പയേഡ്’ എന്ന ചിത്രീകരണത്തിനാണ് പുരസ്‌ക്കാരം. സ്റ്റാര്‍ക്ക് കമ്മ്യൂണിക്കേഷന്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത് സമീര്‍ താഹീര്‍ ആണ്. ഗോള്‍ഡന്‍ സിറ്റി പുരസ്‌ക്കാരത്തിനെ ടൂറിസം മേഖലയിലെ ഓസ്‌ക്കാര്‍ എന്നാണ് വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.കൊച്ചി ബിനാലെയില്‍ സമീര്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിച്ച ‘എ റൂം വിത്ത് വ്യൂ’ എന്ന ചെറുചിത്രത്തിന് 60 സെക്കന്റഡ് ദൈര്‍ഘ്യമുള്ള ചിത്രങ്ങളുടെ മത്സരമായ ക്യൂറിയസ് പുരസ്‌ക്കാരം ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഈ ചിത്രം കൂടി ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയാണ് ലീവ് ഇന്‍സ്പയേഡ് ഒരുക്കിയത്. ബര്‍ലിന്‍ വ്യാപാര മേളയില്‍ ഇന്ത്യയെ മികച്ച എക്‌സിബിറ്ററായി ഇന്നലെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരുന്നു ആ പുരസ്‌ക്കാരത്തിന് ഇരട്ടി മധുരം സമ്മാനിക്കുന്നതാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ കിട്ടിയ ഈ അംഗീകാരം
Kerala Budget 2018: Rs 82 crore allotted for Kerala Tourism
Kerala Finance minister Thomas Isaac is presenting the state budget. The minister allocated Rs 82 crore for Kerala Tourism’s marketing activities. It also has allocated Rs 40 crore for the protection of heritage projects of Muziris and Thalassery. The heritage project of Alappuzha will be funded through KIIFB. Approvals have been given to a few museums, informed the minister adding that the rest of the projects will be initiated in 2018-19 period. Once the Spices Routes starts functioning, places like Ponnani and Beppur will also come under the heritage project belt.
