കമലയ്ക്ക് ആദരമര്‍പ്പിച്ച് ഗൂഗിള്‍ ഡൂഡില്‍
മലയാള സാഹിത്യത്തിലെ ശക്തയായ എഴുത്തുകാരി കമലദാസിന് ആദരമര്‍പ്പിച്ച് ഗൂഗിള്‍ ഡൂഡിള്‍. കമലയുടെ ആത്മകഥ ‘എന്റെ കഥ’ ആദ്യമായി പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച ദിവസമാണ്‌ ഇന്ന്. 1973ല്‍ മലയാളത്തില്‍ ആദ്യമായി എന്റെ കഥ പ്ര0സ്ദ്ധീകരിച്ച ദിവസമായതിനാലാണ് മലയാളികളുടെ ആമിക്ക് ഗൂഗിള്‍ ഡൂഡിലിലൂടെ ആദരമര്‍പ്പിച്ചത്. മഞ്ജിത് താപ്പ് എന്ന കലാകാരന്‍ ആണ് ഈ ഡൂഡില്‍ രൂപകല്‍പന ചെയ്തത്. ‘ഏതു ഭാഷയിലായാലും ഏത് വിഭാഗത്തിലുള്ളതായാലും കമലാദാസിന്റെ കൃതികള്‍ക്കും ജീവിതത്തിനും നിര്‍ഭയത്വവും പരിവര്‍ത്തന ശേഷിയിമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഫെമിനിസ്റ്റ് എന്ന പേര് അവഗണിച്ചും മാധവിക്കുട്ടി, ആമി, കമല, സുരയ്യ എന്നീ വ്യത്യസ്തമായ പേരുകള്‍ സ്വീകരിച്ചും സ്വന്തം നിലയില്‍ ജീവിക്കാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ച വ്യക്തിയാണ് അവര്‍’ ഡൂഡിലിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള കുറിപ്പില്‍ ഗൂഗിള്‍ പറയുന്നു. കമലാദാസിന്റെ കൗമാരവും, യൗവനവും, വിവാഹജീവിതവും അതിന് ശേഷമുള്ള സംവങ്ങളുമെല്ലാം ആവിഷ്‌ക്കരിക്കുന്നതാണ് ആത്മകഥ. മലയാളത്തില്‍ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ‘എന്റെ കഥ’ പിന്നീട് 15 ഭാഷകളിലേക്ക് വിവര്‍ത്തനം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു. എഴുത്തിലൂടെ കമലയുടെ തുറന്നു പറച്ചിലുകള്‍ നിരവധി വിവാദങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ചര്‍ച്ചകള്‍ക്കും വഴിതെളിച്ചിരുന്നു.
